Welcome to My Research!
Since transitioning to cancer research in 2020, I’ve been leveraging my background in physics, mathematics, and computational modelling to investigate the function and dysfunction of the immune system in cancer.
This section highlights the research I’ve conducted at various stages of my career:
Although I’ve moved on to new roles, I remain actively engaged in each of these research areas. If you’re interested in my work or have any comments or ideas, please feel free to reach out—I’d love to hear from you!
Since transitioning to cancer research in 2020, I’ve been leveraging my background in physics, mathematics, and computational modelling to investigate the function and dysfunction of the immune system in cancer.
This section highlights the research I’ve conducted at various stages of my career:
- ABM (Agent-Based Modelling): In this section, I showcase the research I carried out during my first postdoc at the Institute of Physics of Liquids and Biological Systems (IFLySiB) in Argentina and the Institute of Chemical Physics Blas Cabrera (IQF) in Spain. Under the supervision of Prof. Manuel Carlevaro (IFLySiB) and Prof. Enrique Lomba (IQF), I developed an agent-based model to study the interactions between CAR T-cells and cancer cells.
- Image Analysis: This section highlights the work I conducted during my second postdoc at the Centre for Regenerative Medicine in Edinburgh, UK. It was a collaboration between the CRM and Harvard Medical School (HMS), in the context of the ΔTissue program. I worked under the supervision of Dr Linus Schumacher (CRM) and Prof. Chris Sander (HMS). My research focused on multiplexed image analysis to study triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).
- XDF (Cross-Disciplinary Fellowship): Here, I’ll share my ongoing research in immuno-oncology as an independent Cross-Disciplinary Fellow, at the Cancer Research UK - Scotland Institute in Glasgow, UK.
Although I’ve moved on to new roles, I remain actively engaged in each of these research areas. If you’re interested in my work or have any comments or ideas, please feel free to reach out—I’d love to hear from you!
